Wed. Night’s Net Reports

Friday, November 2nd, 2012

   7am Friday

Conditions were pretty poor on Wed. night, but K8GDT and I got on and helped heat up the airwaves.
   K8GDT’s 7 check-ins to the 144.252 net were:  NF8O and KD8FHY EN91;  WB8AUK EN80;  N8AIA, N8WNA and K8JA EN82 and the DX treat was saved for last — WA4REE EM65.

    I had 10 check-ins and several others listening along with the 144.240 net.  N9OLT EN64;  K8JA and N8WNA EN82;  KD8CQC EN73;  W8SOL EN71;  W9YZU EM69;  K9CCL and N9JBW EN61;  KY9E EN53 and N9NYA EN43.  W8SOL is new to the .240 net, and has a nice signal from far NW OH.
Want to acknowledge KB9RDS, WB0YWW, KC9CLM, K0SIX and W9WZJ, who were along for the ride, or popped in a little too late for me to pick them up.

REMEMBER THE 144.240 NET WILL START ONE HOUR EARLIER — 7PM CENTRAL — EFFECTIVE WED., NOV 7TH, AND CONTINUING UNTIL NEXT APRIL/MAY.   THIS ONLY PERTAINS TO THE 144.240 NET CALLED FROM WI.
Right now, I’m unsure who will be net control next Wed. at 7pm central with the 144.240 net from Wisconsin.   We’re in good shape with WB9LYH, N9OLT and myself as options.  Plan on hearing from all 3 of us at various times this winter.   Same thing with the 144.252 net.  I hope/assume K8TQK didn’t have any damage to the antennas with the storm.
*As always, I update kc9bqa.com on Tuesdays with the net control info.  Check kc9bqa.com a few times a week and you’re up to speed.*
