Last night, WB9LYH reported tough band conditions. Despite this, Mark had 14 check-ins and a near-miss. Check-ins were: N9JBW, K9ILU and K9CCL EN61; N9EM EN53; N9YK EN71; WB8LNG EM79; WB0SWQ, W9BBP and WA9BNZ EN40; N9RXM, NG9K and KC9OVD EN41; WD9DCW EN52 and WB0YWW EN22.
The near-miss was KC8UDV out in EN90, east-central OH. KC8UDV got WB9LYH’s attention via the ON4KST.com real-time ham chat room. ‘UDV heard a little bit of Mark’s voice in the noise, but Mark didn’t hear any of ‘UDV’s CW. With better band conditions, they will make the contact one of these nights.
